During my fashion class, I dove into creating my first collection – five dresses that truly reflected my love for design. Using my Singer sewing machine, I poured my heart into crafting each piece, using high-end designer fabrics I hunted down. It all started with cutting the fabric just right, then creating the darts of hemming and sewing. Crafting the patterns by hand in class let me infuse my personal touch into each dress, adding zippers, straps, and slits for that perfect blend of style and functionality. For two months, these dresses were my everyday focus, leading up to their big moment at our fashion school showcase. This project not only had me practice my sewing skills but also inspired me to keep exploring the world of fashion design.
